Hello I am Lily an English Teacher from Peru!

My name is Liliana Nunez I work as an English teacher in Arequipa- Peru. I am from Cusco the city of the Inca's Empire.

I create this blog because I want to share with my colleges and partners the seminars I am having this six weeks in USA . I am participating in the Teacher Excellence Achievement Program in George Mason University, Virginia. I am really excited to participate in this program designed to promote the professional development of teachers and contribute to the quality of teaching in schools in Peru and the United States.

Day by day I will post my and my partners summaries and appreciations of all my seminars of teaching methodology, guidelines for class planning, and teaching strategies, as well as a reinforcement for the use of the Internet, and computer tools for education.

The theory of multiple intelligences popularized by the American psychologist Howard Gardner is subject to criticism and praise in equal parts. WE ARE TEACHERS, WE ARE DESIGNERS!

TECHNOLOGY Concepts, Symbolic and electronic use all together is the biggest and stablished goal. We can see the goals in the activities in classroom. The more tool, the more resources. My goals are not my students goals. As teachers we have to find connection between our student's goals and our goals. If we can find a connection between our goals and student's goals, this is called authentic learning ,so students will be able to share their creations. Affordances offer us do we need. We are teacher so we are designers and our students are the builders. Designers create and put on things together. In conclusion
